Appavu of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in 2016 and set aside the election of his rival candidate I.S. Inbadurai of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) from Radhapuram Assembly constituency in Tirunelveli district that year.Justice G.
