To ensure that all students who passed the Class XII public examination in Coimbatore district pursue higher education, the district administration has appointed 114 senior government officials as higher education enrolment monitoring officers for 114 government higher secondary schools.According to District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, 11,182 students from government schools in the district appeared for the Class XII public examination in the 2025-26 academic year.
